 After an honorable discharge as a paratrooper from the armed service in 1990, Eric earned a bachelors degree in business finance. He moved to Alaska because of his love of the outdoors where he worked in the Oil Industry and with commercial and residential contractors. During this time he gained an extensive knowledge of the construction industry practices and techniques including framing, roofing, concrete work, and paving.

In 2000, Eric and his wife Jolene moved to Portland, Oregon to settle down and build their lives. Eric joined Inspections Unlimited to work in association with one of the most thorough and knowledgeable group of inspectors in the state of Oregon.
